Mobility assistance & general helpfulness
We proactively remove obstacles and reroute you to seamless paths. We work with you to maintain safety and independence at home.
Perhaps recent falls, dizziness, balance issues, and other concerns leave you questioning your ability to remain at home these days. One on One’s nursing home alternative is the answer you’ve been waiting for. Our caregivers are with you for 24-hour, in-home care. The same caregiver that helps you to bed will be there when you wake up the next morning.
Our compassionate caregivers have been trained to assist with an array of mobility needs. They can stabilize you, walk alongside you, and properly transfer you using gait belts, wheelchairs, etc. You’ll be able to get from point A to point B without the fear of falling and injury. If accidents do occur, your caregiver will be there to assist and calm you while contacting medical professionals.
Mobility needs are unique. We take them case by case and extend a customized plan of helpfulness just for you.
Your caregiver won’t simply remind you about your walker or cane. They ensure you use it and do so in the correct and safest manner possible. Further, if you are confined to your bed for any amount of time, they’ll be sure you’re positioned differently every few hours to avoid injury and bedsores.
Our caregivers are proactive. They have a keen eye for potential hazards. They’ll help you avoid slick or wet surfaces, tripping on rugs, protruding furniture, and pets or objects that might hinder your stability and smooth transition.
This kind of full-time companionship means that you’re cared for as you go about your daily life within your home. Beyond that, we’ll accompany you to medical exams and appointments, as well as with shopping and errands. If you’re able to walk at the park, attend your grandchild’s soccer games, or birdwatch on the patio, we’ll see that you do it – safely. Our approach is gentle, friendly, and personalized.
Have peace of mind knowing that someone is always there.
